About the Role
As Managing Director, you will guide the UK business through its next phase of growth—strengthening market presence, expanding commercial performance, and ensuring the brand continues to set the standard in modern design.
Responsibilities
* Strategic Leader
* Define and deliver the UK operational and commercial strategy
* Align business plans with group-wide objectives and long-term vision.
* Provide strategic insight to the Board on performance, risks, and opportunities
* Lead negotiations and commercial agreements on major contracts.
* Develop policies, resource plans, and operational frameworks.
* Business Development & Market Growth
* Drive growth across retail, A&D, luxury, and contract sectors.
* Lead customer acquisition and market expansion initiatives.
* Strengthen brand visibility and influence in the UK design industry
* Oversee key high-value projects critical to commercial performance.
* Operational & Team Leadership
* Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance.
* Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team.
* Ensure resources and budgets support strategic priorities.
* Collaborate closely with group leadership across sales, operations, and marketing.
* Maintain clear, consistent communication with the Board and internal teams.
* Financial Leadership
* Lead financial planning, forecasting, and reporting.
* Monitor performance against budget, ensuring strong fiscal discipline.
* Improve operating income, manage cost efficiency, and reduce debt.
* Provide commercial insights that guide Board-level decisions.
