Highly specialist paediatric audiologist

We are looking for an enthusiastic, well-motivated highly specialised paediatric audiologist to join our friendly, hardworking team of audiologists, assistants and clerical staff. There will also be regular clinical work including diagnostic hearing assessment and support for a wide range of patients including those with complex needs. You will have an ability to exercise good clinical judgement based on up-to-date knowledge and experience. You will be experienced in working at a high level of autonomy and possess excellent communication skills. The post holder will provide the full range of audiological clinical diagnostic tests providing factual interpretative reports as required, as well as being involved in the rehabilitation of patients with hearing impairment. The post holder will work in a leadership role managing the day to day. To provide a comprehensive paediatric audiology service. They will demonstrate leadership to ensure staff are working to national standards, ensure current practice is evidence based and ensure there is quality within the service. The role will require leadership on a specific area of complex paediatric audiology and day to day operational management of this area. They will offer support for more junior staff and those training and deputise in the absence of the Head(s) of Service. They will ensure the service improvements are made in an evidenced based manner and develop staff All new colleagues can expect to receive a warm and friendly Wirral welcome from the very first time they make contact with us.
