Finance Officer - Purchase LedgerPart-time: 12-15 hours per weekStarting salary: £25,253 per annum (pro rata)Permanent contractIncentives: Generous holiday allowance and stakeholder pensionJob reference: FOPL/May25Impact Initiatives is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our Central Team. This is a key role supporting the day-to-day operations of our finance function, focusing on purchase ledger and payments.Our Central Team provides essential support across our services, which work with over 10,000 people each year - from children and young people to adults with disabilities and older people. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a values-driven organisation making a real difference across Sussex.You will be responsible for:- Inputting invoice data and maintaining accurate financial records in Xero- Setting up and reconciling supplier payments- Liaising with service managers for approvals and managing queries with suppliers- Reconciling PayPal, Soldo and petty cash transactions- Supporting utility and expenditure tracking- Providing cover for the Sales Ledger Finance Officer as neededThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:- At least 12 months' experience in a finance or accounting function- Strong working knowledge of purchase ledger processes- Proficiency in accounting software (preferably Xero) and spreadsheets- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills- A flexible and proactive approach to supporting a busy teamIf you have queries about the job, please telephone Kate MacDonald.Closing date: 9.00 AM, Monday 12th May 2025Interviews: Wednesday 14th and/or Thursday 15th May 2025For further details and to apply, please select the apply button shown to visit our jobs page.This vacancy is being advertised by Webrecruit.
