Key Responsibilities of the Geography Teacher: Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4 Encourage students to explore physical and human geography through interactive and thought-provoking activities. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes geographical inquiry. Use a variety of teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles and abilities. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Humanities curriculum and raise attainment. Requirements for the Geography Teacher role: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience teaching Geography in secondary school settings. Strong subject knowledge and the ability to make learning relevant and exciting. Excellent classroom management and organisational skills. A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
