We have a modern purpose-built 250,000 square feet factory supplying a wide range of furniture retailers across the UK and Ireland.## Job Description**Location:** Lebus Upholstery, Queensway Industrial Estate, Dunlop Way, Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire, DN16 3RN **Contract type:** Permanent **Hours:** 39 hours per week, 6.45 – 15.30 Monday to Thursday, 6.45 – 14.05 Friday **Salary:** £12.71 per hour, this will be reviewed following 12 weeks training **Holidays:** Fixed factory shutdownsWe are looking for a Trainee Furniture Inspector to join our fast‐paced Quality team at Lebus Upholstery on a permanent basis. As a Trainee Furniture Inspector, you play a key role in maintaining an excellent customer experience by ensuring our products leave the factory at the highest possible standard. You will be an important link in the quality process, helping us uphold our reputation for craftsmanship, consistency and reliability.As a Trainee Furniture Inspector, you’ll inspect finished furniture items using our 8-point check system, prepare them for transfer onto the conveyor, and ensure all quality standards have been met. You’ll identify faults, record your findings accurately, and carry out spot checks based on customer‐complaint trends. Working alongside the production and quality teams, you’ll ensure products are clean, correctly labelled, finished to the required standard, and ready for despatch, all while keeping your work area safe, tidy, and well organised.
