*Job Overview*
We are seeking an experienced Heating Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, and repair of heating systems in Kent/Sussex/Surrey area (30 mile radius of Tunbridge Wells). Working with oil would be an advantage. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. *Responsibilities*
* Maintain and repair heating systems, including boilers. Experience with Gas fires or Oil would be desirable but not essential.
* Attend to breakdowns, diagnosing the problem, and then quickly working to get the system working again.
* Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to ensure systems are operating efficiently.
* Perform plumbing tasks related to general plumbing i.e. leaking taps, showers, W.Cs etc
* Maintain accurate records of work performed on our service system and materials used.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations while on-site.
* Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their heating needs.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience as a Heating Engineer or in a similar role.
* Gas Safe Card & Oftec (if you are an oil engineer)
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot heating systems.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Oil experience is advantageous but not essential but open to upskilling to OFTEC.
* A valid UK driving licence is required for travel between job sites.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
