Customer Assistant - Fashion Home & Beauty - Epsom
Join our team at M&S as a Customer Assistant in our Clothing & Home section, where you'll champion stylish products, on-trend designs, and exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
* Serve customers efficiently on the shop floor and at service points.
* Keep the store clean and tidy, with shelves stocked with product.
* Monitor and deliver on daily sales targets, priorities, promotions, and selling opportunities.
* Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, make recommendations, and deliver remarkable service throughout their visit.
* Build expert product knowledge to sell and recommend products and services.
* Utilise digital tools and communication channels to deliver for the customer every time after training.
* Be the brand ambassador, ready to recommend new fashion items and ensure customers feel valued every time they shop.
Qualifications & Capabilities
* High levels of customer service with great attention to detail.
* Open to and acts upon feedback; seeks feedback regularly.
* Takes accountability for planning and managing own workload efficiently.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships by listening well.
* Adaptable to changing situations and able to work effectively across different areas of the store.
* Good level of digital capability and comfort using in-store devices and apps.
