Your duties will include:
- Assisting in resolving complex employee relations issues, and conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations
- Providing HR advice on sickness, disciplinary and grievance cases
- Working with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
- Providing HR advice to a range of internal stakeholders on HR and workforce matters
The successful candidate should have:
- Experience dealing with unions
- An ability to build relationships and communicate with people
- Experience of providing advice and support to managers at all levels in all key aspects of employee relations
- An up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practice and the skills to apply and interpret this including data protection & security
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise work
