We are looking for enthusiastic, organised and motivated individuals to join Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHC) as Bank Administrative Support Officers providing support to our Human Resources teams.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced administrators who are interested in developing their knowledge and experience within a busy HR environment. The successful candidates will support the delivery of a professional and customer‑focused HR support service across the Trust.
The role will involve providing administrative support across a range of HR functions, including maintaining confidential staff records, supporting recruitment and onboarding processes, managing HR inboxes and telephone enquiries, updating workforce systems and assisting with general employee relations and workforce administration activities.
Applicants should possess excellent organisational and communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities within a fast‑paced environment.

Main duties of the job
* The role is based at our Trust HQ at Priestley Wharf in Birmingham
* General Administration
o Managing emails and telephone enquiries
o Diary and meeting coordination
o Minute taking
o Filing and document management
o Preparing letters and reports
* HR/Workforce Support
o Supporting recruitment and onboarding activity
o Updating ESR/databases/spreadsheets
o Maintaining confidential staff records
o Assisting with HR case‑work administration
o Supporting sickness absence and workforce processes
o Previous ESR experience is desired
Job responsibilities
* Recruitment DBS Update: With effect from 6 January 2026, all new employees who require a DBS as part of their role and current employees who require a new DBS or different level of DBS, will be recharged for the cost. Costs will only be recovered where individuals are not already paying this directly through the annual DBS Update Service.
* Deductions for bank workers: Deductions will be made weekly upon completion of mandatory training when payment is made and before any shifts can be worked.
