Radiographer | Imaging Department | Private Hospital | Full Time – 12 Month Fixed Term Contract | Worcester | 
Spire South Bank Hospital are looking for an experienced Radiographer to join our dedicated and experienced Radiology department on a full-time basis. This role is a 12-month fixed term contract.

Duties and responsibilities:
To provide highly skilled and specialised imaging for patients within the radiographic department and to undertake a role in either plain film/Theatre/Fluoroscopy.
To ensure the team delivers effective imaging by providing appropriate clinical leadership, managerial leadership and educational and development expertise.
 1. Develop practice in the assessment of health and wellbeing needs.

 3. Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information. 
 4. Develop knowledge and practice in own area of work and provide specialist education and teaching.
 5. Develops a working environment and culture that actively improves health, safety and security.
 6. Develop and improve services.
 7. Evaluate and improve quality.
 8. Enable people to exercise their rights and promote their equality and diversity.
 9. Lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas and work practices.
 10. Apply technology for measurement, monitoring and treatment
 11. Acknowledge the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and understand own responsibility as agreed with line manager in the prevention and control of HCAI.
Who we're looking for:
 12. A Diploma or Degree in Radiography and is registered with the HCPC.
 13. Experience of providing image guidance in theatre, in addition to general X-ray imaging.
 14. A willingness to participate in a flexible rota for evening and weekend duties, plus on-call from home.
 15. Strong communication skills and a good standard of IT skills.
 16. A caring nature with the ability to see each patient as an individual, and to carry out the role with understanding and empathy.
 17. A positive and flexible attitude
 18. Ideally, at least 1 years post qualification experience. 
 19. A relevant, UK recognised postgraduate award or certificate of competence in Mammography is desirable but not essential.
