We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Full Time Supervising Social Worker to join our friendly team to develop and promote fostering services in Cymru South, supporting Foster Parents around Pembrokeshire. Our office is in Bridgend, supporting a hybrid working model for flexibility.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
* Supporting foster parents and their families to achieve positive outcomes
* Monitoring foster parents’ suitability and competence
* Ensuring carers understand fostering tasks, standards, and procedures
* Providing regular supervision in line with FCA standards
* Working collaboratively with families and professionals
* Ensuring compliance with documentation
* Attending meetings and preparing reports
* Promoting participation of children and young people
* Participating in out-of-hours support and duty systems
* Conducting initial home visits and assessments
YOU MUST HAVE:
* Registration with Social Work Wales or equivalent
* High standard of report writing
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding
* Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays
* Confidence in transporting children in challenging situations
