Main duties of the job
Your Role
This is more than a traditional nursing role, youll be a key clinical leader delivering autonomous, high-quality care across a wide spectrum of general practice.
You will:
* Lead nurse‑led clinics and manage patients with long‑term conditions
* Deliver health promotion and preventative care that drives better outcomes
* Provide expert care in womens health, immunisations, travel health, and wound care
* Contribute to practice performance through QOF, CQC, and enhanced services
* Support innovation, audit, and continuous improvement across the surgery

Job responsibilities
What We're Looking For
* Registered Nurse (NMC 1st level)
* Skilled in long‑term condition management
* Qualified cervical cytology sample taker
* Experienced in delivering immunisation programmes
* Good understanding of QOF and CQC standards
* MSc / PGDip in Primary Care Nursing or SPQ
* Advanced training in chronic disease management
* Proficiency with EMIS
