Role Overview
The Transformation Team has a fixed‑term vacancy of 12 months for a Lead Change Specialist to manage a range of change projects around planned care. The dynamic team supports a wide variety of projects and programmes, working in close partnership across the health and social care system. The role requires an interest in planned care and sustainable service delivery, and experience in managing complex change across a health and care system.
Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of complex programmes involving redesign of systems and processes.
* Drive cultural and behavioural change to ensure the success of transformation initiatives.
* Support the Planned Care Improvement Programme and local implementation of Accelerated National Innovation Adoption projects.
* Report to the Head of Transformation and coordinate with stakeholders across the health and social care system.
* Ensure successful delivery of local priorities and project outcomes.
Qualifications
* Experience leading complex change programmes across a health and care system.
* Demonstrable track record of delivering programmes that involve system redesign and behavioural change.
* Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
Working Conditions
* Fixed term of 12 months.
* From 1 April 2026, the full‑time working week will be 36 hours per week, with a corresponding hourly rate adjustment.
* If the post operates within Aberdeen City Low Emission Zone, the successful candidate will be responsible for associated costs.
