Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer
Location: Bristol
Salary: Upto £40,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (39 hours/week)
Shift: Day shift
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and hands-on Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering Team in Bristol. This role involves both planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on a wide range of industrial machinery.
Key Responsibilities for the electrical maintenace engineer:
* Perform planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults in a timely and safe manner
* Work with control gear, PLC systems, and motor drives (AC & DC)
* Carry out electrical installation and commissioning tasks
* Assist with hydraulic and pneumatic systems as needed
* Ensure all work is completed in line with Health & Safety regulations
Requirements for the electrical maintenance engineer:
* Strong electrical background with experience in industrial maintenance
* Sound knowledge of 3-phase power systems
* Experience with PLCs, control panels, and motor drive systems
* Electrical installation experience essential
* Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatic is an advantage
* Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Full UK driving licence
* Ideally based in or near Bristol
