Job Description:

This is an exciting and innovative role for a new business specialist responsible for generating opportunities for a B2B consulting service. The role involves identifying and qualifying potential clients, nurturing leads, and scheduling meetings for the client’s sales team. It offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to launch or accelerate their sales career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.


Role responsibilities

1. Outbound Prospecting: Identify and research potential clients through various channels, including LinkedIn, industry databases, and online research.
2. Lead Qualification: Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on predefined criteria, assessing their needs and fit for our consulting services.
3. Cold Calling & Emailing: Craft compelling and personalized outreach messages to engage prospects and generate interest.
4. Appointment Setting: Schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives with decision-makers at target companies.
5. Lead Nurturing: Develop and execute lead nurturing campaigns to cultivate relationships and move prospects through the sales funnel.


Data and Reporting

1. CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities.
2. Collaboration: Work closely with management, marketing, and other team members to ensure a smooth sales process.
3. Market Research: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs to identify new opportunities.
4. Pipeline Management: Manage a pipeline of leads and track progress toward targets.
5. Data Management: Maintain sales records and design reports/dashboards.


Skills Required

1. Preferably at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role in professional services or M&A sector.
2. Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
3. Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Proven ability to build rapport and establish relationships with potential clients.
6. Proven track record of increasing sales.
7. Strong research and analytical skills.
8. Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
