Your new role
As a Project Engineer, you will be expected to control and supervise key elements of the projects to ensure correct specification, timelines are being met, and the project is being delivered within budget. A major part of the role is to provide support for the development of new product ranges and new technologies. Specifically, you will be expected to provide engineering input to projects during design and oversee their delivery on site. There will be abination of office-based design activities and site-works as part of the overall project coordination and delivery activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and deliver engineering projects from concept topletion
2. Coordinate internal teams and external vendors
3. Monitor build progress, quality, andpliance
4. Track project performance and manage risks
5. Support the development of new technologies and product ranges
6. Ensure all legal, safety, and environmental standards are met
What you'll need to succeed
7. Degree in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline
8. Strong project delivery experience
9. Excellent technical and problem-solving skills
10. Knowledge of health & safety (NEBOSH/IOSH preferred)
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Project
12. Full UK driving licence
13. A proactive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset
14. Flexibility for occasional travel for client meetings
