Summary
Salary – Grade 7 SCP 19. Full time equivalent salary: £32,061
Role Details – Term time plus 5 days. Total number of hours is flexible from 0.5 to full time and there is flexibility to take holidays in term time.
Closing Date – 9am on Wednesday 17th September
Start Date – As soon as possible subject to notice period in current role.
Role Specific
1. To deliver high quality English intervention and relevant programs of learning with individuals and small groups of students, to ensure excellent academic outcomes
2. To prepare and adapt teaching materials, resources and equipment, and assist students in their use
3. To work with teaching staff and leaders, in the planning and evaluation of learning programs for individual students
4. To support students in increasing their self-confidence and independence through encouragement and the effective use of praise
5. To establish supportive relationships with students, staff and parents, acting as a role model and being aware of and responding appropriately to individual needs
6. To encourage acceptance and inclusion of all students within the school, and to ensure all students have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop
7. To monitor the progress, needs and behaviours of individual students and report these to teachers and leaders as necessary
