Cover Supervisor
Location: Horncastle, Alford, Spilsby & Skegness
Salary: £100 – £130 per day
Start Date: ASAP / September
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time | Day-to-day / Long-term
GSL Education is seeking confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Horncastle, Alford, Spilsby, and Skegness. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable classroom experience, particularly those considering a future career in teaching or education.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-planned lessons during teacher absence, ensuring students remain engaged and focused on their learning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver pre-set lessons across a range of subjects
* Maintain positive classroom behaviour and engagement
* Ensure students complete the work provided by teaching staff
* Adapt confidently to different school settings and year groups
* Provide feedback to teaching staff following lessons
* Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience working with young people (schools, tutoring, coaching, youth work, etc.)
* Strong communication and classroom management skills
* Confidence leading classes independently
* A flexible, reliable, and professional approach
* A genuine interest in education
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
