The Leasehold Advisory Service (LEASE) is an arms-length body of the UK government dedicated to providing free, impartial advice to leaseholders and park homeowners in England and Wales. About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Product manager to lead the continuous improvement of the Leasehold Advisory Service’s (Lease) digital products — including our main website and online advice services. This is an 18 month fixed term contract with the potential of to become permanent.
You’ll play a key role in transforming how we deliver advice and information to leaseholders across England and Wales. Working in a multi-disciplinary digital team and with external delivery partners, you’ll make sure our products are evidence-led, user-centred, and aligned with LEASE’s strategic shift towards more proactive, digital-first services.

What You’ll Do
You’ll take ownership of LEASE’s digital products, driving outcomes that directly support our business strategy and users’ needs. In this role, you will:
* Set and deliver the product vision for the LEASE website and related digital services, ensuring it aligns with our organisational strategy and business plan.
* Develop and maintain a clear product roadmap, prioritising work that delivers measurable improvements in reach, efficiency, and user satisfaction.
* Lead continuous improvement across our digital platforms, using user research, analytics, and feedback to identify opportunities for innovation and simplification.
* Champion design thinking and accessibility, ensuring our services meet the diverse needs of leaseholders, landlords, and other audiences.
* Collaborate across teams — working closely with content designers, developers, service designers, and external partners to turn insight into impactful delivery.
* Use data and analytics to guide decisions, measure success, and demonstrate value to stakeholders.
* Stay ahead of technology trends — particularly around AI, automation, and data security — integrating relevant advances into the product roadmap responsibly and effectively.
* Communicate clearly and persuasively about product direction, priorities, and progress across LEASE and with our partners.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll bring a mix of strategic thinking, delivery experience, and curiosity about users and technology. Specifically, we’re looking for:
* Proven experience managing digital products or services, ideally including experience from concept through to delivery and iteration.
* Good understanding of product strategy — able to define and communicate a clear vision and roadmap grounded in research and business priorities.
* Experience working in agile environments, collaborating across disciplines and managing delivery partners or suppliers.
* A data-driven mindset, confident using analytics and research to inform prioritisation and demonstrate impact.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable navigating ambiguity and balancing multiple priorities.
* A passion for improving public services and making a real difference to how citizens access support and information.
Bonus if you also have:
* Experience with data analytics and performance tracking
* Understanding of the Government Service Standard

Working Pattern
The working pattern for the role is hybrid, currently combining homeworking with regular attendance at our London base on Wednesdays and Fridays. Attendance is also required at staff awaydays. Additional flexibility on office attendance may be available to those living outside the Southeast subject to business needs.

What happens next
The panel will draw up a shortlist of candidates and contact those who are invited to interview. Interviews are expected to take place early in December.
The interview will be conducted via online video, details of which will be provided to you should you be selected for interview. At interview you will be asked a set of technical and experience questions to demonstrate your suitability for the role. You may be asked to do a short task or presentation.
