Through our sourcing service and online platform, we give buyers direct access to suppliers and provide suppliers with a way to showcase their skills and win new work.

The Sourcing Team

Our Free Sourcing Service supports UK manufacturing buyers by connecting them with the right subcontract suppliers for their projects. The Sourcing Team works directly with Purchasing Managers, Engineers, Designers and Procurement Specialists to:

* Understand their subcontract requirements.
* Collect and package project information.
* Match buyers with relevant UK-based subcontractors from our network.
* Facilitate lasting relationships between buyers and suppliers.

The Role: Sourcing Advisor

As a Sourcing Advisor, you'll be at the heart of our buyer–supplier connections. This is a varied, fast-paced role that combines relationship-building, problem solving and commercial awareness.

You'll be responsible for a region of the UK, growing the number of buyers using our service, generating a steady flow of live projects, and ensuring those projects are successfully matched to suppliers. You'll also play a key role in helping our supplier members win work.

Key Responsibilities:

* Generate and manage a pipeline of subcontract projects from your region.
* Build strong relationships with buyers and purchasing contacts.
* Liaise between buyers and suppliers to ensure projects are quoted and awarded.
* Promote and guide buyers on how to use our online quoting system effectively.
* Conduct outbound calls and emails (60+ attempts per day) to build relationships and uncover new projects.
* Use LinkedIn and other channels to research, engage and build new buyer connections.
* Deliver demos to new and existing buyers where required.
* Attend occasional site visits, industry events and trade shows.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM.
* Collaborate with colleagues in the Membership & Sourcing teams to support suppliers.

What We Are Looking For

Experience & Skills:

* Previous B2B sales, account management or relationship management experience.
* Track record of working in a target-driven role.
* Experience using LinkedIn (and similar tools) for prospecting and lead generation.
* Strong communication, negotiation and mediation skills.
* Excellent telephone manner and confidence in building rapport quickly.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Good IT literacy (CRM experience a plus).
* Knowledge of engineering/manufacturing is helpful but not essential - full training will be provided.

What Qimtek Offers

* Competitive base salary: £23,000 – £25,000 (DOE).
* Uncapped commission – realistic OTE of £35k–£40k.
* 20 days holiday, rising by 1 per year (up to 25).
* Hybrid working option – after training, you can work from home up to 2 days per week.
