£16.78/hr, 40 hours per week, double day shift (rotating weekly between 06:00 - 14:00, and 14:00 - 22:00
Working in a highly automated department, the Injection Moulding Setter / Operator will be responsible for ensuring machines and automation equipment run efficiently.
Key duties for the Injection Moulding Setter / Operator:
* Setting up, running, and optimising moulding machines and automation systems.
* Carrying out safety checks and undertaking basic maintenance activities.
* Loading and unloading mould tools safely and efficiently.
* Troubleshooting production and process issues in a structured, proactive way.
* Completing first-off and last-off inspections, ensuring sampling meets SOP and quality standards.
To be successful in the role of Injection Moulding Setter Operator, the ideal candidate will:
* Have previous experience as a Setter, Technician, or Moulding Operator in a plastic injection moulding environment.
* Be confident setting, operating and troubleshooting machinery
* Exposure to automation systems and equipment.
