Inspired Search & Selection is a leading recruitment and executive search firm specialising in the publishing and content sectors. We partner with organisations across academic, professional and trade publishing, connecting them with exceptional talent and supporting long-term leadership success.
Our executive search division, Inspired Search, is growing, and we are looking for a highly organised and curious Research Assistant to join the team on a part-time basis. Working closely with the Managing Director of the division, you will provide essential support to the delivery of senior-level search assignments and contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the search process.
This is a varied role combining research, project coordination and market insight. You will conduct in-depth market mapping, identify and engage prospective candidates, maintain accurate data, and support the preparation of client-facing materials. Alongside this, you will contribute to ongoing market research, including tracking industry trends, competitor activity and emerging talent pools.
Success in this role comes from strong attention to detail, excellent research skills and a proactive, collaborative approach. You will be comfortable managing multiple priorities and communicating effectively and professionally.
This role would suit someone with an interest in publishing and research, who enjoys working with information, is adept at MS Excel, spotting patterns and is motivated by contributing to high-quality outcomes.
We offer a competitive salary and a supportive, flexible working environment.
