The Aeration Specialist team plays a key role in delivering organic, hybrid, integrated, and all-nutrient lawn care services, as well as seeding and aeration. Specialists act as subject matter advisers in lawn care, performing soil analysis and helping to control insects, diseases, and weeds.
In this role you will have the opportunity to work outside on properties in your community, spending substantial field time diagnosing problems and treating properties. You will apply your expertise to ensure the health and well-being of each client’s landscape.
What a Day Is Like
Use your specialized training to diagnose and treat diseases and infestations on a client’s lawn. You will work independently, selecting the proper product or customized blend for various lawn problems. You will also communicate with clients by providing them with comprehensive information about their lawns. You’ll own your territory and take pride in the lawns and properties you care for.
What kind of person are we looking for?
* A desire to grow, craves opportunity, loves problem solving and process improvement
* The ability to operate various types of equipment and perform heavy lifting in different weather conditions
* A Degree in Turf, Entomology, Plant Sciences, Horticulture, or equivalent experience
* 1-2 years of hands-on experience in lawn care maintenance and turf application
* Ability to work autonomously and take responsibility
* Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills to understand and meet client needs
* Valid driver"s license; CDL is a plus
* Required Pesticide/Herbicide Applicator’s License(s), or the ability to obtain one
