Location: Leatherhead – 5 days in the office

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Telecoms Engineer to support the design and delivery of complex telecommunications systems for a major onshore oil and gas project. The role involves developing technical specifications, preparing documentation, and performing evaluations for a range of telecom systems.
Key Systems
* LAN/WAN networks
* Fibre optic cable systems
* CCTV systems
* Access control systems
* Public Address General Alarm (PAGA) systems
* PABX and hotline systems
* Wireless, microwave, and TMR radio systems
* Perimeter/fence intrusion detection systems
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure safety, reliability, and quality standards are met across all telecom systems.
* Produce block diagrams, schematic diagrams, cable schedules, datasheets, interconnection/wiring diagrams, cabinet general arrangement drawings, material take-offs (MTOs), and layout drawings.
* Prepare clear and concise technical reports, drawings, and schedules for onshore oil and gas installations.
Requirements
* Proven track record in greenfield and brownfield telecoms projects within the oil and gas industry.
* Hands‑on experience with telecom systems engineering for onshore installations.
* Familiarity with Middle East oil and gas projects is essential.
* Previous experience working on large-scale international projects preferred.
