Marble Talent Group are seeking an experienced Buyer with a strong background in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) procurement to lead, develop, and manage our clients buying function. The successful candidate will take full ownership of procurement activities, ensuring best-value purchasing, building strong supplier relationships, and driving continuous improvement across the department. Key Responsibilities * Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle for MEP materials, equipment, and support services. * Develop, implement, and enhance procurement processes, policies, and controls. * Lead, mentor, and grow the buying team, ensuring effective workload management and high performance. * Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, quality, and reliable delivery. * Monitor market trends, material availability, and cost changes to support accurate project planning. * Collaborate closely with project managers, estimators, and the commercial team to forecast material requirements. * Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company standards and reporting requirements. Requirements * Proven procurement experience within MEP contracting or a related construction discipline. * Strong negotiation, supplier relationship, and commercial management skills. * Demonstrated ability to establish structure within a procurement function and drive process improvements. * Excellent organisational, communication, and analytical abilities.
