Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) is the in-house agency and master vendor for KBR, a leading global engineering, construction, and services company.
KBR supports the hydrocarbon and government services markets across six continents, offering challenging assignments on some of the world's largest and most complex projects.
We are seeking a Senior Flow Assurance Engineer for a 12-month contract in Leatherhead.

Job Overview:
Working as part of KBR Consulting International, you'll have the opportunity to be part of a global, diverse, service-oriented organization. You will work within small project teams developing concept and early project definitions in the Oil and Gas sector.
Responsibilities:
* Act as a flow assurance engineer on upstream projects, conducting flow assurance studies using software such as OLGA, PIPESIM, etc.
* Develop pipeline simulation models, perform simulations, and assess results.
* Perform design calculations and prepare technical reports following quality standards.
* Report to a flow assurance SME.
* Contribute to flow assurance strategies, philosophies, and procedures.
* Demonstrate excellent technical report writing and presentation skills.
Skills / Experience:
* Experience with single and multiphase pipelines, steady state and transient hydraulic analyses using industry-standard software such as OLGA, PIPESIM, PIPENET.
* Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in flow assurance modeling with OLGA.
* Experience assessing flow assurance issues like slugging, hydrates, wax, erosion, and corrosion, providing mitigation solutions.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team with minimal supervision.
* Experience in pipeline sizing, thermo-hydraulics studies, and transient analysis for scenarios like shutdowns, start-ups, and ramp-ups.
* Experience with pipeline overpressure protection and surge pressure analysis.
* Knowledge of flow assurance issues and mitigation methods.
* Good understanding of thermodynamics; experience with Multiflash is preferred.
* Knowledge of applicable regulations, codes, standards.
* Excellent computer, oral, and written communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and in teams.
* Experience with conceptual and front-end studies, topsides process engineering, and process modeling (HYSYS) is advantageous.
* Proven ability to plan and execute studies and present to clients.
* Operational experience is a plus but not essential.
