Join to apply for the Workplace Coordinator role at Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services. We are looking for a Workplace Facilities Coordinator who will be the customer-facing representative for our services and acts as the single point of contact for building users. The role aims to enhance the customer experience by building and maintaining excellent relationships with occupants and by meeting and exceeding expectations daily.
As a Facilities Coordinator, you will set consistently high standards across your area and share best practice with the team to ensure service delivery meets and exceeds customer needs wherever possible. You will work in a team that communicates regularly to keep everyone updated on all areas of the business.
Responsibilities
* Be the first point of contact for FM-related issues and log calls on behalf of building occupants, directing them to the correct department.
* Maintain a visible presence on the floor; ensure shared areas are clean and tidy and proactively assist occupants.
* Attend regular monthly meetings with Floor Leads to communicate issues, queries and outstanding works; log and chase work orders on behalf of the client.
* Participate in Fire Emergency procedures in line with building procedures.
* Ensure a tidy and professional appearance across the floor, desks, collaboration spaces and break-out areas.
* Utilise CAFM systems to log jobs, run reports, raise purchase orders, and support service delivery as required.
* Contribute to high standards of customer service, problem-solving, and conflict resolution with a flexible and proactive approach.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a strong customer service environment with high-quality interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken).
* Ability to work on own initiative with sound decision-making skills.
* Experience using CAFM systems (logging jobs, running reports, raising POs).
* Flexible and adaptable approach with good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); ability to support printing and AV solutions is beneficial.
* Valid formal Health and Safety qualification (e.g., IOSH) is desirable.
