We are recruiting an experienced Young Person's Resilience Worker to join the team working with young adults aged 18 to 25 and young people transitioning to adulthood.
This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours a week on a temp basis of 3 months.
You will deliver high quality service across this distinct and diverse age range with a focus on access, engagement, and support.
You'll work closely with the multidisciplinary teams within the service to deliver evidence-based and quality care.
Experience working with young people and substance misuse is essential.
Enhanced DBS on the update service is essential.
Your new role
* Engage young adults and young people nearing adulthood who have substance-use issues and provide them with appropriate information, advice, and a range of interventions to support their health and wellbeing needs.
* 1 to 1 key working and group work.
* Harm reduction and brief interventions.
* Structured and clinical interventions.
* Whole family interventions.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Experience of working with young adults within a substance misuse setting.
2. Working knowledge of effects, risks, and harm reduction in relation to substances relevant to the age range.
3. Working knowledge of safeguarding young people and vulnerable adults, with an understanding of professional accountability.
