Job Title: Technical Operator Location: West Bromwich Salary: £33,000 p/a Overview: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Technical Operator to join our clients manufacturing team in West Bromwich. What You’ll Be Doing: As a Technical Operator, you’ll be responsible for safely running and monitoring chemical processes, including: Monitoring chemical reactions and process parameters Carrying out distillations, separations, transfers, filtrations and powder handling Operating vacuum systems, nitrogen supplies and control panels Adapting to changing processes and plant requirements Working within GMP-controlled areas, following procedures and documentation standards at all times What We’re Looking For: Proven experience as a process or chemical operative, ideally in a manufacturing environment A strong health & safety mindset with knowledge of COSHH and risk assessments Comfortable working rotating shifts, including days and nights IOSH Working Safely qualification (preferred) Counterbalance FLT licence (advantageous, not essential) GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above in Maths and English A Level 2 vocational qualification or higher is a bonus What’s In It for You Alongside a competitive s...
