What Are We Looking For?
The Marketing Team has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Specialist to join our team in Cumbernauld. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will take responsibility for contributing to the creation, development, and delivery of high-quality marketing projects. As an integral part of cross-functional teams, you will work alongside and collaborate with technical, proposals, and sales teams to understand customer needs and develop relevant marketing materials. This role requires a creative thinker with exceptional communication skills and a commitment to staying updated on industry trends. You will report on the progress of marketing campaigns and have a proactive nature. Travel to various locations across the UK is required, with accommodation provided by RSE.
Responsibilities
* Marketing Content Creation: brochures, case studies, tender/proposal support, video creation, social media content, advertising event support, and CRM management.
* Assist in planning, development, and execution of marketing campaigns to meet organisational objectives.
* Conduct research and analyze data to identify and define client focus and needs.
* Support internal marketing aligned with RSE’s culture.
* Develop and present ideas and strategies to enhance marketing and wider business communications.
* Assist in managing and growing the company’s social media presence.
* Compile and distribute financial and statistical information aligned to marketing/sales, and monitor performance.
* Support the production of Technical Capability profiles and Technical Standards for business products/projects.
* Use data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies.
* Maintain the marketing database, CRM system, and Marketing Automation system.
* Write and proofread creative copy documentation.
* Support and maintain RSE company websites and analyze data.
* Coordinate the editing, uploading, and management of social media and intranet for marketing posts.
* Provide technical support for development, coordination, control, and completion of documents defined by the business, ensuring consistency with the company strategy.
* Support campaigns and messaging in line with marketing events.
* Support the production of Technical Capability profiles and Technical Standards for our business/products/projects.
* Provide support for preparation of client proposals and review meetings.
What Do You Need?
* Education to degree level in a Marketing discipline.
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both internally and with clients.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with a team and engineers to obtain required information.
* Competence in producing final copy documentation.
* High competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Knowledge of various social media platforms.
* Good attention to detail.
* Ability to learn quickly and understand specific terminology and product application.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
