Role Overview:
The Delivery Area Manager leads a team of shift managers and associates in daily operations within the delivery station. Responsibilities include conducting meetings, training sessions, assigning duties, and communicating with stakeholders, including management and functional teams. This role manages site operations and supports external stakeholders.
Job Specifics:
* Fully onsite role with flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts. Overtime may be required during peak seasons.
* Location: Puebla.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage daily operations of the delivery station focused on Amazon order deliveries.
* Lead Process Assistants and Delivery Service Providers, overseeing meetings, training, and communication.
* Ensure a safe workplace with properly trained staff who's needs are addressed.
* Implement change quickly, fostering innovation.
* Route shipments within Amazon Logistics coverage area.
* Support and assign duties to team members.
* Adapt to operational changes and growth.
* Monitor sorting operations and driver dispatch.
* Review forecasts and manage team productivity to meet goals.
* Support safety programs for a safe work environment.
* Lead process improvements using Lean methodologies.
A Day in the Life:
You will work in shifts, focusing on safety, quality, and performance standards. Your day may include team management, operational tasks, process improvements, and contingency planning. You will also mentor new managers.

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) handles last-mile delivery in partnership with third-party providers. Our teams focus on operational excellence and customer experience, working 24/7 to ensure smooth deliveries and innovative solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree completed
* Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
* English Fluency (C1+)
* 5+ years of general experience
* 4+ years managing people
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Lean Manufacturing concepts
* 3+ years in performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques
* MBA or related advanced degree
* Previous experience in last mile delivery companies
