Connex Education is working with a welcoming and supportive primary school seeking a qualified teacher to work within a Year 5/6 classroom. This is a unique and fulfilling role, ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring and developing others within the profession.
✨ About the Role:
In this position, you will be working alongside a trainee teacher who is in the final stages of her teaching course. She will take the lead on teaching the class, while you provide in-class support, guidance, and mentorship to help her thrive and succeed.
Importantly, all planning, marking, and paperwork will be managed by another teacher, allowing you to focus fully on supporting teaching and learning in the classroom.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2 (Year 5/6 desirable)
* Confidence in supporting and mentoring trainee or Early Career Teachers
* A calm, encouraging, and collaborative approach
* Strong classroom presence and ability to support learning effectively
