What you’ll be doing
as a Performance Manager
1. You are responsible for the performance management and leadership of your team by company policies, ensuring the competence of individuals through coaching and training to maximise their potential.
2. You are responsible for identifying, mitigating, resolving and escalating risk across the site and team.
3. You will need to deliver a consistent approach to asset operation and maintenance to deliver a cost-efficient, robust and safe operation 24/7.
4. Understand and articulate changes within the budget at regular performance review sessions. Ensuring the budget is managed effectively about H&S, compliance, people and performance.
5. You have responsibility for delivering a safe service to the customer base in your area, by driving a culture of continuous improvement and best practice within the team.
6. Health and safety is at the centre of everything we do and as such you will be responsible for implementing this with your site and team.
What you should bring to the role
To thrive in this role, the essential criteria you’ll need is:
7. We are looking for a proven manager, ideally someone who has process or operational management experience with strong skills in engineering, finance, H&S and stakeholder engagement.
8. You will need excellent people and performance management skills to support and drive a team with a mix of skills and abilities.
9. A strong health and safety and customer-based ethics.
10. Excellent organisational and risk management skills are also needed. Good interpersonal and communication skills - both written and verbal are essential for the role. Strong computer skills are also desirable. A valid driving licence is required to travel to different sites.
