Teaching Personnel are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Supply Teachers to work in a range of primary schools across Stanley and Consett from September.
This role is ideal for qualified teachers who enjoy variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to work across different school settings. Supply work can involve short-term, day-to-day cover or longer-term placements, depending on your availability and preferences.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons across the primary curriculum
* Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and year groups
* Follow school policies and lesson plans where provided
* Maintain positive behaviour management and a safe learning environment
* Assess and support pupil progress during your time in class
* Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity of learning
Key Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
* Experience teaching within UK primary schools
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* A flexible, reliable, and proactive approach
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
* Right to work in the UK
