Quality Controller - Medical Technology, Birmingham
Newton Colmore is working with a medical technology company in north Birmingham, and we are assisting them with their search for a key quality control hire.
The role as an experienced quality controller offers the opportunity to work on market-leading medical devices, collaborating closely with the production team to ensure that parts from suppliers meet design specifications and quality requirements. The quality controller will assist in supplier quality assessments, including creating and following up on SCARs, and will ensure that the Device History Record (DHR) is maintained for manufactured products. This is a key new role within the team, reporting directly to the head of the team and working with five production team members.
Responsibilities include incoming inspection of parts, handling customer returns, and ensuring compliance with document control, CAPA, and the complaints process.
The ideal candidate will have experience in medical technology, along with strong skills in document control and inspection testing.
