Job Title: Purchasing Team Leader
Location: Aylesbury
Contract Details: Permanent, Full-Time, Office based
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm or 9am - 6pm (1 hour lunch break)
Salary: 30,000 - 35,000 per annum
Responsibilities:
As the Purchasing Team Leader, you will:
* Lead and support a team of 2 Purchasing Assistants
* Build and maintain relationships with suppliers
* Analyse market trends to select and purchase products
* Order daily to ensure optimal stock levels
* Create and manage purchase orders and related paperwork
* Track orders and ensure timely delivery
* Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams
* Communicate with management regarding stock shortfalls
* Continuously improve purchasing procedures for efficiency
Essential Skills:
* Relevant purchasing experience is preferred
* Excellent computer skills, particularly in Excel and Microsoft Word
* Strong analytical approach to tasks
* Exceptional communication skills
* Outstanding organisational capabilities
* Ability to thrive under deadlines and responsibilities
