Vision for Education is seeking a calm, confident, and resilient Behaviour Mentor in Northumberland to support students in managing their emotions and behaviour. You will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to create a positive, structured learning environment. This is a rewarding role for someone passionate about helping young people overcome barriers and thrive in school. You’ll provide one-to-one and small group support, helping students develop self-regulation, social skills, and confidence. This role is ideal for someone patient, proactive, and committed to making a lasting impact.
Requirements
The desired Behaviour Mentor will have:
* Experience working with secondary and primary school-aged children in schools.
* Experience working with pupils with SEND.
* A passion for the progress of SEND primary and secondary school pupils.
* An ability to work as part of a team.
* An ability to build rapport quickly with students.
* Key qualities such as patience, sympathy, and strong-willedness.
* DBS check on the Update Service.
