Conrad Consulting are delighted to be working with a small yet rapidly growing architectural practice based in Northampton, East Midlands, looking for a talented Project or Senior Architect to join their team as they embark on an exciting new chapter of growth and innovation.
As a forward-thinking architectural practice, the team design and deliver outstanding projects that push the boundaries of creativity and functionality. With a diverse range of projects in the pipeline, a Project or Senior Architect is required to join the growing team.
The practice operates from two locations in the Midlands region, with teams specialising in Residential architecture—from one-off bespoke housing to multi-unit developments throughout the UK. The practice also works within the Commercial sector, with projects in office space, retail and community halls, among others. The ideal Architect will have a demonstrable background in the residential sector, with experience in other areas for when the practice diversifies into new areas.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to the design and delivery of projects, ensuring high standards of creativity and functionality.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead project teams where appropriate.
* Support projects across both residential and commercial sectors, adapting to the practice’s evolving portfolio.
Qualifications
* UK recognised qualifications in Architecture and fully qualified Architect
* ARB registration & RIBA chartered
* Approximately 3-5+ years\' post-qualification experience
* Background in the residential sector, ideally working with or for volume housebuilders
* Proficiency in Archicad
* Excellent understanding of UK building regulations and construction methods
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Salary and package
* £40,000-£45,000 (negotiable)
* Private healthcare (opt in after probation period)
* Hybrid/Flexible working options (available post 6 months probation period)
* 27 days holiday + bank holidays + Christmas shut down
* Discretionary bonus scheme
