Salary: £92–£97 per day.
About the Role
We are looking for a resilient and committed SEND TA to join a specialist SEND school in Plymouth. You will support students with Autism and SEMH needs, all of whom have EHCPs. This role involves working with students who display very challenging behaviour, so confidence in de‑escalation and behaviour management is essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Support students with Autism and SEMH needs
* Help deliver tailored learning based on EHCP targets
* Manage and de‑escalate challenging behaviour
* Build positive, trusting relationships with students
* Work closely with teaching and support staff
What We’re Looking For
* Experience with SEND, Autism, or SEMH (preference)
* Strong resilience and calm approach under pressure
* Confident handling of challenging behaviour
* Passion for supporting young people
