Key Account Manager

Macgregor Black are partnering with a leading toy company on the search for a Key Account Manager. This is a permanent role based in London, England.
As the Key Account Manager you will, manage high-profile retail accounts including Primark, Costco, HMV, and Claire’s, with a focus on driving growth, maximising sales performance, and nurturing long-term strategic relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own and manage key retail accounts, ensuring strong relationships with buyers and decision-makers.
* Develop and implement account-specific business plans to drive revenue and category growth.
* Negotiate terms, promotional strategies, and pricing to meet both customer and company objectives.
* Analyse sales performance, market trends, and consumer data to identify opportunities and challenges.
* Work cross-functionally with internal teams including marketing, product development, and supply chain to ensure effective execution.
* Manage account budgets, forecasts, and promotional spend with strong commercial awareness.
* Provide regular reporting on KPIs, forecasts, and market activity to senior leadership.
* Attend industry trade shows, customer meetings, and product presentations as required.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or National Account Manager within the toy industry is essential.
* Demonstrable success in managing major retail accounts such as Primark, Costco, HMV, or Claire’s is highly desirable.
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive actionable strategies.
* Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
