Technical Designer wanted in the South West! KBB Recruitment are pleased to be working with a well established luxury high end KBB manufacturer renowned for creating high-quality, bespoke kitchen, bedroom and bathroom solutions. Due to continued growth, they’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Designer to join their creative and collaborative team in Swindon. Full time, permanent position, Monday to Friday, paying between £30,000 - £40,000 DOE Role Overview: As a Technical Designer, you’ll be responsible for turning client visions and concept designs into accurate, production-ready technical drawings. You'll play a key role in bridging the gap between design and manufacturing, ensuring that every detail is precisely planned and executed to perfection. Key Responsibilities: * Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for kitchens, bedrooms, and bathrooms * Work closely with the design, sales, and production teams to ensure all designs are feasible and to spec * Interpret architect and designer drawings, offering technical guidance where needed * Modify and update designs based on client feedback and site measurements * Ensure all drawings meet manufacturing standards, compliance regulations, and quality expectations * Support the development of bespoke design solutions and innovative product improvements * Maintain clear and accurate documentation throughout the design process About You: * Experience in a technical design role within the KBB, cabinetry, joinery, or interior design sector * Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or similar) * Excellent understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and construction methods * Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot and resolve technical issues early * Good communication and teamwork skills * A problem-solver with a proactive, can-do attitude * Knowledge of building regulations and design standards is an advantage What We Offer: * Competitive salary of £30,000 – £40,000 depending on experience * Opportunity to work with a respected and growing brand in the KBB industry * Supportive team culture with ongoing development opportunities * Involvement in exciting bespoke design projects KBB Recruitment are acting as the recruitment agency for this position, Please call Amber on (phone number removed)
