We’re looking for Relief Hospitality Assistants to provide a quality dining experience in our well-established restaurant, situated within our modern Retirement Village at Lovat Fields in Milton Keynes. You will receive a competitive hourly rate of £13.23 plus an excellent benefits package which includes;

* Role: Relief Hospitality Assistant
* Hours: Ad hoc/ as required to cover events, weekends and holidays

What will you do as our Relief Hospitality Assistant?

* Operate a lunchtime (and occasional evening) service
* Set tables are smartly and correctly
* Make sure appropriate background music is playing prior to opening
* Keep the restaurant clean
* Ensure appropriate feeding aids are available when required.
* Ensure a commitment to the highest standards of hygiene at all times

This Hospitality Assistant post will be subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure, two references, medical clearance and Home Office right to work clearance.

Our Story

To deliver our vision and mission we essentially do three things: we develop new villages, we operate villages and schemes, and we support our villages, schemes and our ‘extra-care’ model through fundraising, advocacy and research.

Our Housing Schemes and Villages are supported by a team of 1,500 staff, recruited to work with us directly. Over 85% of our care staff are qualified to QCF (NVQ) Level 2 in Health and Social Care (the national training requirement is 50%).


Training and Development

We are committed to supporting our employees' learning and development and our performance is monitored by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). We offer a wide range of on-going comprehensive programmes of statutory and mandatory training. We have been awarded Investors in People - Gold Award.

You will be assigned a 'buddy' when you start; an experienced trained member of staff who can ensure that your induction is structured, supportive and relevant to your role. This person is assigned to your first month to help you settle into ExtraCare as soon as possible.
