The Role
You will initially take responsibility for the completion of two plots from cradle to grave on an existing development in Sittingbourne, ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. You’ll also play a key role in the final stages of site closure, gaining valuable experience in project completion and handover.
Following this, you will transition onto a brand-new development nearby, providing an excellent opportunity to broaden your experience from early-stage construction through to completion, with a clear pathway towards a Site Manager position.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day site operations on allocated plots
* Coordinate subcontractors and ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard
* Support the Site Manager in managing build programmes and site logistics
* Maintain health & safety compliance across all activities
* Assist with quality control, snagging, and handovers
* Contribute to site close-down procedures and final inspections
What We’re Looking For
* Experience as an Assistant Site Manager within residential construction
* Strong understanding of housebuilding processes from foundation to completion
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to progress into a Site Manager role
* Relevant qualifications (SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS, First Aid) preferred
