Job Title: Senior Estimator

Office based in City of London - Bishopsgate/Bank area
Overview
We are seeking a highly competent Senior Estimator who is ready to take the next step in their career and grow into running an estimating function. This role is ideal for someone who has operated at a senior level for several years but is not currently leading a department, and now wants the opportunity to step up.
The business is fast‑paced and high‑performing, with several strong, experienced personalities. Success in this role will require confidence, presence, and the ability to hold a room while operating with credibility and authority.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver accurate, high‑quality estimates across projects in a fast‑moving environment
* Present confidently to internal stakeholders and senior leadership, clearly articulating assumptions, risks, and commercial position
* Stand firm in discussions, influencing outcomes while maintaining strong working relationships
* Work closely with delivery, commercial, and leadership teams to support winning and executing work
* Gradually step up into a leadership role, with the medium‑term aim of running the estimating department
About You
You will be an experienced Estimator who is commercially sharp, technically strong, and comfortable operating in a demanding environment. You will have strong knowledge of the commercial fit out market and will have a desire to take your career to new heights.
Key attributes include:
* Proven experience as a Senior Estimator over a sustained period
* High level of technical competence and attention to detail
* A strong personality with the confidence to challenge, influence, and stand your ground
* The ability to present effectively and hold the room in senior forums
* Comfortable working at pace in a fast‑moving business
* Motivated to step up into departmental leadership, but not currently leading an estimating function
