People are at the heart of what we do. We're looking for a Hire Controller to join our Hire Desk team and play a key role in supporting the hiring and off-hiring of plant and equipment to our customers. This role is ideal for a proactive, organised individual with a strong eye for detail and a customer-focused mindset.
What you'll do
As an essential part of the Hire Desk team, you'll:
* Manage the hiring and off-hiring of plant and equipment to customers
* Support and advise Hire Negotiators with pricing, specifications and availability
* Ensure quotes are raised for every customer enquiry
* Maintain accurate Live Hire and Closed Hire files
* Manage and process re-charges accurately
* Produce Hire Desk revenue reports
* Prepare detailed customer reports as required
* Ensure all hire information is accurate and provided correctly every time
* Respond to and resolve hire-related customer queries
* Liaise daily with the Service and Transport teams to ensure smooth operations

* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines
* Strong attention to detail
* Confidence working in a fast-paced environment
* Basic knowledge of plant and equipment
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
