We're currently recruiting for an HR Generalist to become a key part of a collaborative HR team in the manufacturing industry. The Role As HR Generalist, you'll play a vital part in delivering everyday HR services, particularly in the areas of onboarding, employee support, training logistics, and system administration. Main Duties Lead and oversee the full onboarding cycle for new hires, delivering a seamless and engaging induction experience. Support the coordination and administration of training programmes, including scheduling, tracking attendance, and maintaining development records. Act as a first point of contact for HR queries, providing advice on routine employee relations matters such as attendance, performance, and policy interpretation. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in line with GDPR and internal compliance standards. Work closely with the HRIS to input data, run standard reports, and assist in system upgrades and process optimisation projects. Assist with the drafting, reviewing, and communication of HR policies, ensuring consistency and clarity. Contribute to employee engagement efforts, including recognition initiatives, staff briefings, and wellbeing campaigns. Organise internal events such as inductions, learning workshops, and employee forums. The ideal candidate Previous experience in a similar HR generalist position, preferably in a similarly fast-paced industry Proficient with HR systems and Microsoft Office applications. Highly organised, with a proactive attitude and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively. Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset and a focus on providing excellent internal service.
