Take ownership of privacy in one of the most important global markets, while shaping the company’s approach across multiple regions. With world-class data and tech resources at your disposal, you’ll report directly to the Chief Privacy Officer and only need to be in the West London office twice a week. The rest of the time you’ll manage your own schedule from home. If you’re looking for a high-impact opportunity where you can make real decisions and build something lasting, this gives you full ownership of privacy in Germany, plus influence across the UK, Middle East, South Africa and India. What you'll do You’ll take the lead on privacy for Germany, advising the business on data protection and making sure it stays compliant across multiple markets. You’ll shape privacy assessments, track compliance and report directly to senior leadership, giving you a strong voice at the top table. Building relationships across the business will be key, so you’ll work closely with privacy champions and stakeholders to keep things running smoothly. You’ll also get the chance to develop privacy frameworks that will be used globally, not just in one place. What you'll need
* Deep knowledge of German data protection laws, GDPR and the e-Privacy directive
* To be able to speak business level German and English.
* Experience applying these laws in a data-driven commercial setting
* Proven track record as a subject matter expert in German data protection
