The Governing Body of Beaufort Hill Primary School is seeking to appoint Level 3 Teaching Assistants to support learning in our school. We are looking for enthusiastic, highly motivated, creative and committed enabling adults who can support our children in realising their potential.

Short listed candidates will be required to plan and deliver a short 15 minute activity of their choice to teach to a small group of Nursery/ Reception aged children as part of the interview process at our school.
Successful candidates will be expected to:

* Make a contribution to the fabric of the whole school, becoming a positive and effective member of a hardworking team
* Be willing to work with all children in the primary range - Nursery to Year
* Have strong literacy and numeracy skills, modelling this when communicating and working with pupils and other stakeholders in the school community.
* Support the improvement of standards for learners in all aspects of school life
* Demonstrate effective professional, interpersonal and organisational skills
* Be empathetic and supportive of vulnerable learners
* Be committed to the use of the Welsh language and the bilingual agenda in Wales
* Have a good understanding of ALN reform and experience of working with pupils with additional learning needs.
* Show passion for their continued professional development to be a lifelong learner and role model.
