Our Oncology Centre currently houses three matched, fully loaded TrueBEAM Linear Accelerators, a Canon Wide Bore CT scanner and Eclipse TPS to support the planning of external beam treatments.
Treatment workflows are fully paperless and managed using Aria R&V. The department has a well-established SABR programme and boasts an excellent portfolio of clinical trials, both in terms of recruitment and diversity. We have a lively brachytherapy service treating a range of patient indications, with our HDR afterloader. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who can work autonomously but also as part of a wider team.
Some out-of-hours work, weekends and bank holiday working is required. This is shared between all physicists on a rota system. The department also offers flexible working patterns and opportunities to work from home.
