Purpose
To deliver the highest standard of creative across multiple projects at Acrylicize, matching the finest artists and artworks to spaces in need of art interventions with a rich story to tell. Working under the Creative Director and in partnership with the Creative Team, the core responsibility will be providing opportunities to artists and art solutions to clients big and small, helping to drive the curation narrative of the studio.
Main Responsibilities
1. Sourcing, commissioning, and curating artworks for multiple clients, managing time effectively across projects within budget constraints.
2. Serving as the key contact for curation projects and collaborating on larger scheme projects.
3. Confidently presenting concepts and managing client expectations and concerns.
4. Advocating for great work, encouraging clients to appreciate collections, and guiding them through the journey.
5. Creating engaging proposals for new curation opportunities that focus on a concept or story.
6. Building and maintaining a database of emerging artists and sharing updates with the team.
7. Liaising with artistic and creative institutions to establish successful partnerships.
8. Researching market trends in the art world regularly.
9. Mentoring junior team members closely.
10. Collaborating with the Creative Director to develop the studio’s community strategy for curation.
11. Working with Project Managers to estimate curation time at project start.
12. Assisting with planning events, panels, and art shows as needed.
13. Writing thought pieces and articles to promote client engagement.
14. Contributing marketing input for the promotion of Acrylicize projects.

You Must Have
1. Knowledge or understanding of the art world and contemporary artists.
2. Confidence, clarity, and professionalism in client interactions.
3. Openness to feedback and a desire to improve.
4. A drive to enhance the studio’s output.
5. Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
6. Ability to create engaging documents from templates.
